Banned Countries, try this to get into PWI

I don't know if this works, but I've been searching around. You can try it for yourself- see if it works!

Download HotSpot shield at the following URL: http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/
Install and Run HotSpot
It will either open a website or you may have to right-click the system tray icon and select "Properties". Press the green button "Run HotSpot Shield"
Wait till the state says "Connected"
Log into PWI. Your IP should now be masked to an NA IP.

Hotspot does place advertisements at the top of your browser when browsing ONLY WHEN IT'S RUNNING and once you close it ("Right-click", "Exit") the advertisement will no longer show.

For the sake of this convo, it seems PWE has removed the IP bans of Malaysia, Japan, and the Philippines.

So all Malaysian Peace people can play now too. XD

No Dita, the IP ban is still on I just managed to download the game client, thanks to Tiiah but now a bigger problem emerged

Tiiah, that Hotspot thing really did work...until my pc finished downloading the game client and I found out that I have not yet register at the official website (which I still cannot due to IP ban to my region) AND there is one more thing...

THIS NEW GAME CLIENT OVERWRITES MY PW-MY GAME CLIENT! WTH???!! Why didn't anybody mention it before?? So what am I supposed to do now? Uninstall the new client, which took me almost a full day to download? Naturally, I am reluctant to do that but if I don't, then I can't log in to my lvl 101 EP !

Is there a game client renamer or some sort of that that can allows 2 game clients of the same game to exist together?

I NEED HELP PLEASE! AND FAST! BECAUSE IF I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CHOOSE BETWEEN PWI AND PWMY, THEN I WILL HAVE TO UNINSTALL PWI TO REVERT BACK TO MY EP.

And besides, the ping in PWI is too much for me - about 3000ms - I think kinda like what westerners are getting in PWMY.

._. my PWI didn't override the MY version. I can't play both versions at once no, PWI won't let me, but it shouldn't override unless you saved over the MY one. Ping for me on PWI is only 200. Can you turn on hotspot and navigate the PWI site to register? It should work for all sites n' not just games

nothing wrong with me leh, i could run pwi + pwmy at the same time, and when install just don't install in program files, install it in C drive....anyway hoping u guys could come and join us, we can help each other out and ghost i dunno how ur can't leh, all u need is a multiclient program to be able to log 2 game of 2 diff server at the same time, either pwi + pwi, or pwi + pwmy, or pmy + pwmy also can leh

I didn't lie or anything, but it just won't let me download the freaking game. And Tiggerz, the installation of PWI was to my C drive > My Documents folder, and it still patches only 1 elementclient (the name of the launcher for Perfect World game) on my Desktop. When I clicked that elementclient, it automatically opened the newest launcher i.e. PWI. I opened PW-MY files, which is in my C:\Perfect World folder (note 2 completely different place) and selected the PWMY launcher manually but it directed me to click "launcher.exe" - which is the one on my Desktop. Somehow, my pc reads only ONE elementclient as both PWI and PWMY's game clients used the same name. And for your information, I DO have a multi-client.... -_-

Correction, I did manage to download the game client (finally) - the Hotspot thing did work. But my problem now is how to separate PWI game client from overwriting my PWMY game client. After that, perhaps somebody can help me to register an account in PWE?

To install without overwrite only choose a diff location in ur hard drive.

On my desktop I installed PW-MY on D: partition and PWI on C: partition.

Umm...weird. We have had some Malaysians come over already. O.o;;

Schalf, both game clients WERE in different directory but perhaps the difference with your one is C drive and D drive? mm....I don't have a D drive in my pc. How do you create a D drive? Wait....my D drive is the DVD/CD-RW drive :p

Haven't been able to get into contact with Biggo yet, but Quiv brought up that maybe you registered with a Malaysian address? Not IP address, but your home address on the register account form. I'd try making another account and see if it'll work if you use like an American or Canadian address.

Also, you could do a rollback on your computer probably to get MY-EN back, but you'd have to download PWI all over again most likely. :X

U should create another partition in ur HD, but better dont do this...
My suggestion is...

Install PW-MY. Then make a .zip of whole instalation. Remove the instalation folder and install PWI.
After, unzip ur PW-MY in another folder and create another shortcut to the patcher of PW-MY.
Should work.

I finally managed to download the freaking game without overwriting my PWMY - just figured out some tweaks and common sense >.< and VOILA! I am just so totally fascinated with the new race lol everything about it...the skills, the looks, their capital City of Raging Tide and even their zen-recovery! *ROFL* It's like a whole new game to me everything is just so perfect and beautiful.

Anyway, just wanna say, if anyone is online there, please pm my new Psychic in Harshlands server. Her name, is Raewen. ^_^
